TMIRCE Easter Basket love, for the Kids

We are TMIRCE. We meet and run, workout, have some beers, eat some food and on occasion, get married to one another. But the best part about TMIRCE is how we quietly help how community. This week you have an opportunity to do some good in the world. The Salvation Army in Cambridge brings some underprivileged kids great Easter Baskets full of candy, little toys, and gifts, this Sunday. These are some of the same kids that got some great Christmas presents from us and the Kier Byrnes Freedom Runners a few months ago.


Spring is just starting to heat up, the Sox and Yanks are about to kick off their yearly beef, and we are prepping our Easter Baskets. If you want to help, join the facebook event here for details.

If you want to contribute, put your Easter Basket together (Michael’s has some great deals) and bring it to TMIRCE Saturday at City Sports this weekend. We’ll deliver the baskets immediately after run club.

In other news, TMIRCE Track is starting to heat up. Last night, it was sunny and warm…ish…for the first time since September OH!12 and it was apparent that people were tired of being stuck inside because you came out in droves. Raise your hand if your feeling sore this morning from the tabatta style workout we did? 800m, 20sec. sprint/10 sec. jog x 4min, 800m, 20sec. sprint/10 sec. jog x 4min, 800m.

Shout out to Adam for showing up early for the secret pre workout, workout. Dude crushed his first Triathlon too. Don’t see yourself in the photo? Maybe it’s time to skip work a little early and get out to one of our events.

[Saturday 3.30] Bring an Easter Basket to the Potluck style brunch run. Best breakfast item on the table will win the Golden Egg. Some things that people have brought: eggs, bagels, box of joe, pancakes!, crepes, sausage, french fries, fruit, fruit salad,

[Monday 4.1] TMIRCE goes for a run with friends at lululemon. Free appetizers after hours at Back Bay Social Club. 

[Tuesday 4.2] Track workout. First Tuesday of the month, you can lay down your fastest mile time.

[Friday 4.5] First Friday Happy Hour. Come out for a drink and socialize with your favorite runners in non-running clothes at Charlies Kitchen. Be ready to make new friends and see old ones and maybe some ole ones too.
